Enthusiasm, diversity and scientific knowledge are at the core of our design initiative. With over 20 years of experience in landscape planning, we have the ability to listen, interpret and express ideas in a way that sets us apart from other firms.
Michelle Grover, ASLA, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of RI in 2002. She is our lead designer dedicated to working with clients and interpreting their ideas. She specializes in site analysis, graphic plan production, and site coordination.
Our design process begins with client goals in mind. An on-site consultation allows us to gather information such as project scope, site constraints, initial measurements, photos and to listen to our client’s ideas and wishes. Our designer may then use this information to render a proposed design, and discuss options at the time of presentation.
Rendering and Presentation
Landscape plans are hand rendered and include site elements such as buildings, natural features, proposed features, general grading, lighting and plantings. A landscape plan should be a reflection of a clients needs and desires with unique ideas incorporated to meet those objectives. Upon approval of a design, a budget is formulated and presented. Decisions are then made to coordinate a scheduled timeline for construction to begin.
